Thanks to everyone for a great week of mountain biking. For those of you that missed it, we braved the rain on Thursday for some great riding and lots and lots of puddle splashing! Unfortunately, I left my camera in the car.
This week the Mountain Bike Program will meet in the following places: Monday - Shevlin Park, meet in the parking lot outside of the park gate, on the left hand side of the road as you come from town. Tuesday - Shevlin Park Thursday - Phil's TH Lower Parking Lot
Upcoming Events: Bring a Friend Day - Tuesday June 15th. If your child is going to bring a friend along you must let me know ahead of time so that I can schedule the appropriate number of coaches. Also, 'friends' must come with a signed liability release - available here.
Pickett's Charge MTB race: Held in Bend on June 27th. Check out information at http://www.sunnysidesports.com/picketts/ . As I mentioned at the Parent Meeting, racing is a part of our program but certainly not the backbone of it. We encourage our kids to challenge themselves and to partake in new experiences; racing provides a great opportunity for that. If you have questions about participating feel free to contact me. If there is interest, we will have a coach at the event to help our athletes warm - up and navigate through the obstacles of race day.
